Made a CZ 457 Single Shot Adapter

Considering I'm a rather inpatient machinist it is a testament to how easy a Sherline Lathe with Mill attachment with DRO is to use.
Only took one try and about two hours of stress.
I still need to mess around with the feed lips / tray to get feeding 100% reliable but I'm close.
Probably should have just bought an aluminum one on ebay for $25.

Looks nice! I was debating doing my own a few weeks ago too... in the end I got the aluminum one on ebay- it seemed to have some subtle surfacing in the feed ramp that took some trial and error to arrive at. It is very well made. I did have to do a little filing on it though to make sure it locked in with a snap. Take a look at how he designed the feed ramp... works very well!

they sale them on rimfire central 14. bucks out of plastic they work pretty good.
Yep Pat Nolan, a moderator on RFC, 3-D prints them and I'm pretty sure they don't take near as long to make as machining one. He makes models for several different actions. I have one for Rem 581/541. Works great! That said, if you like to fool around with machining as a hobby, it can be fun. For those looking for single shot adaptors for a very fair price, his username is PWNolan on RFC.

I modified the top feed angle and now it's awesome! I needed something to make with 3k worth of tooling...right
Cbashooter,
Nice! $14 single shot adapters are cost effective, but not near as endearing as perusing your 'fun time' and succeeding! Nice job!!

I just have something against anything 3-D printed. I don't know why. I know they work fine and may last forever but that's just how I am.

Yeah, nice job adding the ramp into your part- should make a big difference! I have a 3D printer and thought about printing one but there is nothing like a nicely machined piece of aluminum!

No disgrace there, and you don't need to know why you have something against 3-D printing. A reason means nothing if you are happy and having a good time doing it the way you want to. Shouldn't matter to anyone but you. In the topic of the thread, I did support the work of Pat because I shot with him several years ago, and he does make a nice product. After that, by all means fill those hours running your machines and have fun doing it!! That's what I got from your post, you're having fun and wanted to share. Nothing wrong with that! Your results look very good.

I always kid my friends I hate glocks I just hate the way they feel everything about them. But I've owned one since 1987 and I have one in my bedside and one that I carry.
I feel most 3-D printed things work fantastic. I have a single shot adapter for my carcano that is 3-D printed that I'm going to replace with an aluminum one cause I need to waste my time.

Does he make them for the 17HMR?

I have a 457 hummer and as of the last time I messaged him, he did not have one yet for it. Go over to RFC and send Pat a PM for more information. He has added new stuff as time goes on. He responds quickly.
