Mack Brothers EVO Action

So, .473 or mag bf only?
They say wire EDM for stress free machining....great - but was the billet sr'd after forging? Or is that a given?
More info needed for me.

I have said before, the bolt handle and kanob is so ugly I will never buy one. They have been out awhile.
Wire EDM on the raceways? Several after market makers do this.

Butch, are there some already being used on new builds? I didn’t know that that they had been going for a while. Thanks.

If wanting one to use with pre-fits out of the box, the Evo won't work. .010 needs to be remove from the back of the barrel to work. That puts many out right there.

Meaning the length of threads are insufficient for a bbl nut? Or?

Does that mean also that the Evo would be a no-go with the Criterion Remage setup from Northland?

I believe they are offering the shorter bolt now to fit Remage bbls.

I'm actually wondering if tolerance is good enough for shouldered pre-fits.

Prefer shoulder, but would like to have option for Remage.
