M1A barrel twist

I searched around but couldnt find anything posted.

I am building am M1A for service rifle comp. and looking for a recomendation for what twist to get. Kreiger lists 1-10,1-11 and 1-12.

I am leading towards splitting the differance and going with 1-11.

I will most likly be shooting Sierra 175's for the most part

175SMK's work great with a 1/11 twist. They'll also do fine with a 1/10 or a 1/12. It's been said that a 1/11 twist is ideal for the shooter who can't make up his mind between a 1/10 and a 1/12
