Lyman T-Mag II Turret Reloading Press

Is the Lyman as good as the RCBS or Hornady turret press. Or do I need to be using a different press for competition reloading

You will not like the Flex that RCBS or the Lyman has. Go with Redding T 7 and have no worries. Sure it costs more, but in reality you get what you pay for. Hornady does not make a turret press.

I have the Lyman, explain flex. Now you got me thinking I have a problem I didn't know I had >:(. It works well for me but I am not a competitive shooter.

I agree the T7 is stiffer than the other presses listed, I have one and I am not convinced it is good enough for competition. I have found as much as .003 flex in the T7 I think it could be easily remedied by machining the bushing in the turret so when the turret is tightened down it would be totally locked into position.
