Lyman on E Bay

My old Lyman brass tumbler died, so the wife found one on E bay, unbenounced to me. Well my birthday came around
and got the new in box tumbler. It lasted for two loads of 45 brass and died.

Lyman will not honor the warranty because the seller was not a authorized dealer.I found out that it was drop shipped from a large retailer of sporting goods ,Still no go with Lyman >:(

Yeah they wouldn't replace a bowl that wore thru the bottom either. Buy a new one was their answer. No warranty from lyman on much of anything.

I've had just the opposite experience with Lyman and my 1200 tumbler. After 20 years, and very heavy usage with 45 acp brass, the motor finally quit, called Lyman, and for a total of $35, including shipping, they sent a new unit. It's like starting all over with a completely new one, and the motor base unit is still "Made in the USA".

I got much more than my investment cost of the original unit.
