i called Lyman yesterday about the beep signal it makes after every function,while it does not bother me alot because of my hearing loss ,it did bother my wife and especially the DOGS in our house . it drove them Nuts. So i called Lyman explained the issue ,and he went right into how i can make it more quiet. so i am not the first with this issue. Easy fix
the beep comes from the small round cylinder under and to the left of the number 5 on the key board.
step 1 shut off dispenser and remove the power then remove all the powder and the hopper and the powder tube per the instructions.
#2 remove the 6 screws from the bottom-2 are under the rubber foot pads and remove the gray cover .
#3 remove the 4 screws from the key board and lay forward.
#4 cover the small hole in the black round cylinder where the BEEP comes from. i used monkey puddy that is used for electric boxes to seal. i covered it all the way around the top and sides .
#5 reassemble the powder dispenser.
Still makes a very small beep to signal you ,but the dogs and wife are much happier now.
