what peoples experiences with these powder scales?
Ive had mine for about 5 years with a variety of issues any where from not turning on to turning on a the screen freezes to now it turns and wont read weight. :(
A buddy I know has had his 2 years :o and used it 3 time and went to use it and wont work!:( :(
Also whats your experience with there customer support?

Lyman scales are POSes. I have a 1500XP that constantly drifts a few tenths of a grain, it changes values at least every 5 seconds. Ive seen it drift tens of grains if you leave it on for a few hours. Tried removing it from anything that might produce RF or a breeze, tried powering it from batteries, created a draft shield, etc. Nothing helps. It will also lie to you, any value within +/- ~0.3 grains of zero will simply read zero. For the trouble mine has caused me, I should have just bought a $15 scale instead of this $150 POS.

I havent tried their CS because I voided my warranty, but all the reviews online are very poor, if they replaced mine, it would likely still have the same problems.

Sorry for your problems. I must be lucky. I've had a 1500 with no problems you have described. I have never turned mine off in the 2 yrs I have used it. I Check it with other scales that I have
and is always accurate.
