Lyman All American 8 press

Have any of you used the press almost exclusively for bullet sizing? This is something I tried the other day and seems to work perfect for my needs. Curious, who uses this press for other functions other than reloading dies? Mine is set up for bullet pulling, universal de capping and bullet sizing. I made a video to share with you.

I bought one a few years ago.
I have 9mm and 223 dies screwed down tight as I load a lot of it.
I also have a lee universal depriming die and universal flare die screwed on.
I use a cast iron Hornady press for other stuff.
I don’t like the play in the turret for serious size and seating functions.
I wish it had grease fittings.
Have to lube it quite often.
I bought it from midway for around 175.00 shipped for it.
I think I’ll keep it.

That press looks like it would be a wildcat brass former's dream come true. If I was still wildcatting a lot, I would buy one.

If you want to grease it just disassemble drill and tap a hole and install a grease zerc. Problem solved.

I enjoy mine for just that! I just load a box of fifty at a time just to keep it enjoyable.
I keep a set of 38 Special and 9mm set in mine plus separate crimp dies for both, so the 8 hole turret works great.
