Lucas Bore Guide O Rings

Anyone have a source for the .378 case head size bore guide O rings? The only thing I can find locally is a bit on the large size and the chamber plug won't enter the chamber.

E-mail Mike and ask what number o-ring is used. It will become easier to source them at a parts house/hardware store if you have the number.

If it's just a little too large to enter the chamber, a thin film of silicone grease on the ring should help. Don't use regular grease if it's a flat black (Buna, most likely) O-ring (shiny would mean it's a different material, probably some sort of silicone rubber.)

I only have guides for 6BR and 308; they're likely different than yours.

For 223 size, 1/16 thick x 5/16 OD x 3/16 ID, for 308 size, 1/16 thick x 3/8 OD x 1/4 ID and for mag, size, 1/16 thick X 7/16 OD x 5/16 ID.

I use the rubber "O" rings used for wacky style rigging (fishing ). Goggle wacky o rings. They have 5/16 and 7/16. I use the 5/16 for up to .308 diameters and 7/16 for Mag diameters.
