LT-32 & N135

I stopped by my local gun store today and picked up one pound of each LT-32 and N135

I'm planning on doing some testing with these powders in my 25 DTI using 75 grain Vmax

Can anyone shed some light on these two powders as they are both new to me. How do they meter and how do they handle temperature changes.

Both are excellent powder for their application. Not sure what a 25 dti is but im betting the burn rate may not be perfect but its a good score to get either one

It's a 6.8spc cartridge necked to .257
H322 and Benchmark are some of the go to powders so I'm hoping these other 2 will fit the bill nicely also

Have been using a 25 DTI since 2012. AA 2520 is the magic powder for the 75 V max. Start around 32 gr.and progess slowly. 33 plus in my barrel yields 3275 fps.

I use 322 data for LT 32 although I start low. They are very close and LT 32 doesent seem to be as temp sensitive to me. I'm using it in .222 .22 BR and even 6 BR but it is a little fast in the 6 but mine is a 1-10 and I'm shooting 80 grain bergers in it

Those powder's are top notch. Lt32 has a bad habit of putting the bullet's in the same hole. Boring!! N135 might be too slow??? I don't know. Somewhere around 4895 and ar-comp burn speed i think. My Tikka 308 really like's n135 with 150 grain bullet's. Good luck. Post pictures.

I need to qualify my statements. The loads I quoted are all seated to 2.29" in ASC mags in S&B brass (higher capacity). N 135 is great paired with the Barnes 80 gr. TTSX start at 29.5. These are loaded at 2.31" in a modified PRI mag (window milled in front). Coyote blasters are Sierra 70 BK. in front of 33+ grains of TAC. 3293fps avg. The 80 TTSX work on hogs and mule deer very well. 70 BK not fur friendly.

I don't use any N135, but I use a lot of N133.

LT 32 is one of my favorite powders for my 20 cal stuff (20 Bobcat and 20 Practical). Of course I am in no man's land for loads using this powder. It would seem to be pretty fast burning for your application, but that is just me. Here was development work with LT 32.

I have PRI mags but have not done any modifications to them. I'm going to be using Nosler brass. I just missed the boat on SSA brass.

Honestly so far, I'm not real impressed with this Nosler brass. It groups fine but I'm only getting 3 firings out of it and the primer pockets are toast. That's with a max load of H322, Rem 7.5s, and the 87gr spritzer. And my speed is just not there.
