LT 32 in 6ppc

Hi
What to try Tony Boyers method for finding a load like he explains in his book. But I would like to use LT32 instead of N133. What would be the best 3 powder charges to try?
Thanks for your help.

It would be good to tell us a little about the rifle like barrell length and twist and weight of bullet desired to use.

You ask in your post. 3 charges as Tony describes in his book. So I assume you are throwing your powder.

some lots of LT are slower than the first couple lots of powder, I dont know what lot you have. I have some lot 6 and lot 10 they are a little slower than lot 1 was. I use a Harrel measure. With LT I look for a load with a new bullet going from jam working the bullet .005" at a time as Tony describes
with

28.2grains
28.7
29.2

Some days the hot load weighing just over 29 grains shoots the best, usually in the morning
Some days it knots up little holes at 28.2 and in the hot of the afternoon
you will find no single load will work all the time. That said, it is a little easier for me to keep in tune than 133

I am loading for a friend and do not have the rifle in hand.
The previous loader was using 28.2 g of LT-32 under a 64g bullet. I only have 68gr Bergers would 27.5 gr of LT-32 be safe? I did notice some minor cratering at 28.2 of LT-32

I have a question on Lot numbers? I had some older lt32 and it said 2012. I purchased some new and it has more of a code 111182147. What Lot is that??? And the label is different.

I have 2 different lots ( I Think ). The # on the label of both is 94794 00688, there is a sticker on the bottom ( these are 8lb jugs ) on 3 of them it has the #3 with a date of 4-3-13 under it, and the other has the #10 with 7-11-14 under it........You tell ME ????
I use BR-4 primers and with lot "3" 27.5 would be a fine place to start....My go-to with 68bt and the mentioned primer is 28.2 with an easy fill and zero pressure.......Have Fun

Regards
Rick

I bought mine a couple months ago in a recent shipment, and the lot # is 11222116. Even though I have a little over 3lbs of it, I just bought another 8lber before it all dissappears.

Called Hodgdon today to find out what all the numbers mean. First number is size, 1 or 8 would mean 1 pounder or 8 pounder. The last 2 digits is lot number. for example 11222116
1 lb- 12-2-2021 lot 16 or 1-22-2021 lot 16 hope that helps.
