LR308 .338 FEDERAL BARREL SETUP WORTH

I have an AR-10(DPMS LR308) with a 24" fluted,cerakoted,.338 Federal barrel on it with a flush VAIS brake and a 12" railed carbon fiber handguard. I'm soon going to put the OEM 16" .308 barrel back on. What would the.338 barrel setup be worth? Just looking for opinions. Compass Lake Engineering did the barrel work.

Problem is, you'll have to find someone that wants an AR that shoots those heavies. Is it just the barrel or the upper itself? If it's just the barrel, you'll probably have to offer it for low, 325-375 range for it to actually sell. It's a 24 inch, so it will be harder to move for a big bore if you're using the pig angle to sell.

I have an original 338LR from DPMS that I love, it's a good bear gun. 200gr Hotcors aren't that expensive and are as accurate as you can be, and H335 is common enough to find and use for powder.

Probably not what you wanted to hear but it's realistic. A 308 moving a 180 at 2500fps isn't much different from a 338F shooting a 200gr at 2650ish. I get about 2750 from a 180 accubond and a 24" Ruger m77 338F.

No sir I'll input is welcome I definitely understand what you're saying there's not a whole lot of difference except for me personally,I prefer larger caliber bullets.

It's just the barrel, not the whole upper. It's a diamond fluted, heavy profile, gunmetal gray cerakoted 24" barrel with a well fitted VAIS brake.
Anyway, the rifle has actually never been fired,in OEM LR308 form or with the .338 barrel.
I'm just now wanting a CQB rifle and I've got plenty of bolt action 24 inch barrel hunting rifles so I figure why not make this Oracle a .308 CQB rifle. Ammo is way less costly, and as I don't handload that works out better for me.
