lowest recoil 12 gauge slug

load your own,,,,you dont need many ,,,Imake my own slugs in a Lyman mold ,,,they look like a large "pellet" and rquire a rifled bbl. or tube,,,,I use a rifled tube and get great accuracy using Longshot powder ,,,,Roger

Good question....nothing hurts worse than slugs....
However if used for hunting do you want to give up power...???
IMHO...get a newer gas compensated gun benilli,franchise each make some good ones...

The B&P Target Slugs are actually pleasant to shoot and pretty accurate. I primarily run them through my Mossberg 590 pump, but they won't reliably function either of my Benelli semi autos. I've had good luck with Fiocchi 7/8 ounce 3 gunner slugs in the Benellis - very comfortable to shoot also. You didn't specify your purpose, but I assume if you're trying the mini-shells you aren't looking for a hunting load.
