Lowest-profile lens caps?

Hey all! I've got a nightforce NXS 8-32 x 56 mounted on my target gun with a Heavy varmint taper. The bottom of the objective bell is only about 3/32" from the barrel...I've tried butler creek flip up lens caps and they're a really tight squeeze..do you guys have any recommendations? I don't want to stress the scope tube.

Get the Aadmount caps. You can easily file the bottom to fit.

Those look extremely strong! But they are quite expensive - could I file the butler creek caps the same way?

I would be concerned about the BC not holding on once filed away, plus that gummy material would be hard to file. But the caps are cheap enough, why not try?

Yea I guess it couldn't hurt - what's $5 when you're dealing with a custom rifle w/ a Nightforce scope right?
