I don't know how common low light hunting is for you, but first and last light is the most productive (and most difficult to catch on camera) periods here. I have to properly ID the specific type of deer I am shooting, so I cannot skimp on optical quality. First deer went ok, second I didn't get an ID and third and four went ok.
