LOW BUDGET .22 TRAINER / SILHOUETTE RIFLE - start to "finish"

Very nice writeup. After working on three different Savage rimfires, the biggest improvement that you can do to them, is throw away the plastic stock, and put on a wood or laminate, and bed it. If you want a black texture the bed liner in a can, works great and you can shape the wood any way you want. They take away the vast majority of the fliers and day to day group shift you can encounter with the tupperware. On rimfirecentral, their is a great article on bolt polishing, that "can" help with accuracy, and will make it a bunch smoother.
