Love my new .338 Bartlein barrel

I started doing some load tests for my new barrel 338 Lapua. Barrel is a Bartlein, 9.3 twist, 30 inches, Sendero Contour. Rifle is Savage savage hs precision.

This thing so far is a laser. Only tested out to 300 yards so far but here is what she can do. Testing 600 and 1,00 yards hopefully soon.

Just built a 338 lapua on a stiller tac 338 with a bartlien barrel and it's shooting the same as yours, I'm running retumbo with 250gr bergers at 3000fps, nice shooting

Got to 600 yards today with a 10mph wind.

I was testing a couple differents loads so I didnt make any scope adjustments between loads. I'm still not settled on a load, the 600 yard photos, 1 load was with 88.5g 20 thou off and the other was 89.75g 60 thou off. I hit a 12 inch gong at 1,000 yards 3 out of 4 times with the 89.75 load the same day. I didnt have any 88.5 left to try at 1k.

I have the same rifle but a 28” Bartlein try n-570 powder h 1000 is too fast and you have the barrel length to burn a slower powder
