Love my 22lr rifle

I would be disappointed if my better CZ’s shot 1” average groups at 100 yards.

I had a podunk Marlin 60, $75.00 at K Mart, took a lot of jack rabbits with it. Not a tack driver but took a jack at 175 yards with cheapo Bushnell glass.

I've been getting frustrated with center fire rifles. Spending a lot of time and money on reloading components. So I grabbed my Cooper m57 and headed of to the range. I haven't shot this rifle in about 4 years. I have 3 bricks of Lapua Midas Plus. It loves this round. Shooting bug holes at 50 yards. I shot a couple of 1/2 in groups at 100 yards, just for fun. That WAS fun!
Got it home, 4 patches and it was clean. Scoped the bore.... pristine.
I've had this rifle for about 15 years, probably 5000 rounds thru it. No worries about shooting out the barrel. Just shoot it, clean it and love it.
I do love tinkering with my cf reloading, but the pure simplicity of this rim fire rifle is real joy.
