Lost Scope in House

I hate to say this I’m embarrassed I bought a Zeiss scope 6 x24 about eight months ago had a custom 22 creedmoor being built just received the rifle today guess what can’t find the scope looked everywhere in the house gone just gone have any of you ever heard of such a dumb thing I don’t know what to say

You can't imagine how much lost stuff I have . Have your wife look for it. That's what I do.

Yes. Most frustrating, a pair of optical flats. Missing from their place in the tool box. No where to be found. No one has access to them but me. Most recent, 100 30 caliber Barnes TSX bullets. Had them on the bench last week. Today, gone.

The standing joke around my house is that I don't "look" very good.
My wife is a much better looker.
My oldest daughter is an extremely good looker. Quite a pretty girl, too.
I'd loose my head if it wasn't attached.

This is not a small item & and not a cheap one either I told my wife I lost it but didn’t tell her how much it cost me or she would have the family jewels
