Newbie received used burris 6-24x44 scope saturday from snappyauctions via ebay. inspection revealed almost yellow cast when looking at snow in neighbors yard;this scope has lost its "brightness",or should i say contrast?). images through scope appear sharp, but light transmission/contrast may be adversly affected when mounted & shooting 200 or more yards. did previous owner do something to degrade lens coating?? I suspect this is an abuse issue not covered by burris warranty. any thoughts greatly appreciated/ chaz
