As the saying goes you can cut some off but you can't cut some on.....
Specific problem is that a standard Remington action screws (ADL/BDL/Seven) are too short when mounting a 700 clone in an aftermarket stock, the longest only engages about one thread at the rear of the action.
So I'm looking for either Allen ot Torx screws with the same amount of unthreaded shank and the same countersunk angle on the head as a factory screw, just 1/4" longer. Stainless would be nice but I'll tak what I can get.
