Looking for suggestion on scope rings and bases.

I am wanting a system for my rifles so that I can swap scopes from gun to gun. I mainly own Winchester model 70's. I have a few Swarovski scopes mounted on some of them. I want a system so I can change scopes and re-zero them. I use a 300RUM for deer or elk, when that season is over I want to put that scope on a 22-250 or a swift. I am leaning towards a picatinny rail for the bases. I was thinking about Talley but am open to ideas. I have far too many rifles to scope them all.

Thanks,

Todd

Just use a pic rail from a known quality source, in the past I allways used Badger but I'm sure NF or Murphy Precision if you want a step up from those two.
The only other suggestion is don't skimp on the rings or mount.
I have been partial to Seekins and Badger rings but you couldn't go wrong with a quality one piece mount like a SPUHR or ZRO DELTA for a scope you intend to shuffle around between rifles.

Talley Signature picatinny if you want something more classy.
But a good picatinny base from NF and good rings from nightforce, badger should not give you any issues. I always swap scopes on my rifles and usually zero is 1 or 2 clicks off.

I have a Leupold Backcountry one piece base which is made from 7075 aluminum. That should be plenty strong, it's nicely machined and it was about $40. You don't have to spend a ton on a rail.

Bobro makes some nice low profile QD mounts that will let you return to zero without adding too much height compared to low rings on a rail mount. The only issue I've had is that it can hit the bottom of the turret Bell in a lot of scopes.

If you can make it work, that combo will let you potentially swap between rifles and dial a very close zero if you write down the relative offsets.
