Kevin loves seventeen caliber rifles,Todd Kindler used some of his info regarding the 17s in his book the Sensational Seventeens.
He also has quite a few pictures from back in the day when celebrities enjoyed shooting guns
Hand written notes from Vern OBrien as well,showing who bought which serial numbers.He is wealth of knowledge on 17’s and he also knows a lot about Sako rifles too.I am glad to call him my friend and happy he can enjoy this great hobby so fully.Not sure if the 17 Javelina or the 17Magnum is his favorite,I will have to ask him

What is the parent brass for the javelina?

If you open the 17 cal section in this site, left hand border, and scroll down there is a short bit of info re: the 17 Javelina.

A crusader arms Serial 009 came into my shop today and I will be consigning. Any idea on where the value is at or a an interested party? I would classify as near mint no real blemishes on the wood or metal.
