Looking for Pictures - reloading for beginners

I'm going to be help conduct a reloading class for beginners at my local club. The class is a free one and I'd like to illustrate a few things with pictures (as they're worth a thousand words). What better place to look than here?

Do you have any pictures that Illustrate the following?

Headspace
COAL
Pressure signs, including cratered, pierced or flattened primers, case head separation, etc. etc.
Cracked necks
Mistakes

Thanks in advance.

They are all in the hornady manual. and others like richard lee's book.

Thanks, but photos in a book don't really help much. I need digital photos so I can put them into a powerpoint.

NoSlack,

I think I got a few examples of what not to do, or what happens when for ya.. I know I have a pix of what can happen to the chamber walls when you get head seperation (Flame etching) and should have more.. Give me a day or 3 to dig into it.

Nosulac,
if you get some good pix for a power point slideshow maybe the forum will post it under a "newbie" or "error section". i have lots of "mistakes" in a big pretzel jar so i can look back at them. Let me look around this weekend as well and take some pix. Do you have a regular email i could send to?
Cheers,
Doc

I'll just bring a batch of my latest reloads... kidding

Let me know what you would like me to bring, equipment etc. (for show and tell.)

I might have a case with case head separation and maybe some cases with a doughnut in it, if i didn't throw them away.

Use the search utility on this website for different problem pictures. It might take some time going through all the post. Several things I pay attention to.

1. The powder trickler will sometimes drop powder onto the scale hang pan. Look at the hanger each time you put the powder pan on it.
2. If you bump the scale make sure the slide weights don't move. Especially the small one. I look at the small weight as I put the powder pan on the hanger.
3. If you tumble polish the cases look inside each of the unloaded cases for polishing media or SS pins.
4. I fill the cases with powder on a loading block. After all the cases are filled check each one with a flashlight to make sure each is filled with powder. If you get distracted or interrupted you can lose track of which case the funnel should be on.

This thread is from 2013... betting he got it handled back then, but maybe he's still interested.

Just stating the obvious
