Looking for opinions on the Kelbly 1M stock.

I am not sure if this is in the correct spot but I would like to hear from those with experience. What do you think about the Kelbly 1M for shooting prone 600-1000 yds?

Re: Looking for opinions on the Kelly 1M stock.

I have one with an adjustable comb and buttpad. I have been shooting it for two years now and am very satisfied with it. It tracks well and does everything I need it to do. Kelblys bedded it for me and the bedding is excellent. I ordered it with extra weight in the stock to get me right up to 22 pounds and they hit the weight exactly.

Couple friends of mine from Texas use the 1 M in FTR and really like em. I wouldn't be scared to use one for a build.

I have a rifle being built by Kelbly's with a 1M. I just needed opinions as I have not seen much in writing about them. Thanks.

Is the toe of the stock angled or straight on the M1? It's hard to tell on the stock photos on Kelblys site.

Jade, are they using Joy-Pods or other bipods too? The 1M is an interesting stock, but I note the page says it's a flat toe. Maybe they offer angled too if you ask.

I guess I read the page to say that the toe has a flat on the bottom for riding in the bag, not that it was flat front to back. The photo looks like it has a slightly angled toe, but its hard to tell for sure.

Jay, one uses a Flex bipod and the other is using a Duplin if i remember correctly. Both shoot very well and I think the stock has a slight angle to it.

Mine has a flat bottom. I have used a SEB rear bag with 3/4 spacing for the last 2 years, and it tracks really well. Return to battery has not been an issue for me at all.

Is there any slope, front to back, on the bottom of the stock?

I have one, and rate it highly, long in length compared to some, mine tracks great, it has a very slight drop in the toe, i'll be building on a new one very soon

I like mine. It's very straight.

One note. If you plan on installing a rail in the forend, tell Kelbly's so they can add extra material up there. Mine was pretty hollow and it opened a little when we machined into it.
