Looking for load data - 280 Rem

I'm thinking the 140gr VLDs will give me the most distance...but am willing to listen to those more knowledgeable!

I don't have a 280 but I have a friend that shoots a straight 280 Rem in 1000 yard F-Class matches that I have helped with load development. He uses the Berger 180 VLD and the Cauteruccio 189 bullets exclusively. These have the highest BC's of any 7mm bullets commercially available and are also higher than most 30 cal BCs. The BC for the Sierra 140gr GameKing is .416. The new BC for the Berger 180 VLD is .617. The heavier bullet will give you less MV than the 140, but the higher BC should give you better long range performance. Hope this helps.

im getting great results with reloader 22 57gr. and 168 matchkings or 162 amax . very happy at 1000 yds paper or game
