Looking for info about Tikka 595 Deluxe models.

I had heard whispers about Tikka Deluxe 595s for years. I finally managed to find and buy one in 223. I’ve been looking for more information about them but there’s not much out there on the net. I searched thru the Sako site and came up empty.
I’m hopeful there are some savvy guys here that know about them and can share their knowledge. I would appreciate it. Were they special order? Years of production? Etc. Here’s my new gun:

I would email Sako and or Tikka direct in Finland and ask.

Seems like the 695 and 595 were replaced by the T3 in early 2000s. Tikka/Sako did have a cache of early model info at one point, but it isn’t there any longer. Beretta isn’t likely to be a lot of help.

I once had a 695 with one of those beauty stocks. It had the RMEF logo on the receiver. I always figured the logo warranted the nicer stock offering but never pursued it. It was an absolute hammer in 280 Remington.

What a beauty! They sure have a good reputation, and I have a hunch the T3 was designed to produce cheaply, not to make the 595 better. Every single gun I have ever had the old and new model it was a downgrade fluffed up with marketing hype. The T3 to T3x. Beretta 3901 to A300. CZ 452 to CZ 455. CZ 455 to CZ 457. Every one a bean counter's dream come true!

true that. Sako took down a page that had tons of info on older models. I wish I had screen shot them back in the day. Accuflight MAY have that info. I did find some individual pages on the net, hard to find and not in one piece.

That's a good lookin' rifle. I have a 695 in 7mm mag that came with the composite stock; that stock's been replaced and now just sits in the corner. I'll have to see if I can unload it on that Tikka Shooters site from the link above; didn't know that existed.

That’s a neat rifle Josh, congrats on landing it. being a Tikka fan anyways I was curious and did a couple searches. Didn’t find much. When I did a search for “tikka deluxe 595” under images there were a couple that came up that were old classifieds, gorgeous rifles too. You might find some more info looking along those lines. I found those and a few links to sites in England, where they were mentioned. I also found a hint of info here from back in 2005-6ish ? time frame. Always just a whisper. Nothing I could sink my teeth into. 24 hour Campfire, the Tikka forum, a long ago listing on Guns International, a couple Collectors sites, the Sako forum. I spent a good few hours searching different word combos. Always just a hint or two.
