Looking for hand primer for WSM cases

I am looking for a reputible hand primer that will work for WSM cases. I am new to the reloading department, and want to get started off slowly and will progress as my experience progresses. Does any of you have a preference or is one as good as the other?

Thanks in advance,

Pat

Safey1,

I reload for the 300wsm and I use the RCBS hand primimg tool. It gives good feedback if you encounter a loose primer pocket and the #46 shell holder you use on your press, and in my case trimmer will work. Save yourself some time and buy 3 or 4 shell holders so you wont have to change from one tool to the other.

Have fun, Scout1

Thank you for the quick response. It is greatly appreciated. A friend of mine that was going to reload some shells for me has a Lee Universal hand primer and it will not work for the WSM shell casing. The base of the case is too small for the universal shell holder.

I don't load for any WSM at this point but..
The Lee loader has something like 14 different shell holders that can be purchased. Just because your buddy's is the wrong size doesn't mean its not capable.

The Lee priming tool works just fine with the WSM case. I had to remove a little material on the front of the tool, dremel) to let the case into the shell holder though. The newer tool may have this problem corrected though.
