Looking for Gunsmith to finish barrel swap

I've got a rem 700 223 which I have started a barrel swap on. I have successfully removed the old barrel and Installed the new barrel. I'm wanting to send it out to someone who can finish up the swap by fitting the barrel and adjusting the head spacing as this is out of my comfort range. Does anyone have any recommendations as to who I can commission to complete this work? I'm located in West Tennessee.

I'm guessing here but sounds like you may have picked up a .223 Remington pre-fit that uses a Remage style barrel nut?
If so, then you do need either a go gauge or someone with a go gauge and knowledge off how to use it.

You got this far, you can do it. Get some gauges. The gauges don't lie.

I am rebareling it with another factory Remington barrel. You can get the action closed with a no-go gauge but just barely.

Take your recoil lug to a machine shop and have 0.002 to 0.003 ground off on a surface grinder.

Also, make sure the barrel is tight and not just hand tight. That will make a difference.

Clean everything. Grease the threads and both surfaces of the recoil lug. Tighten to 75 foot pounds, loosen and tighten again. You should be good.

Is this with the barrel torqued down?
If so Skim cut your recoil lug.
