I am looking to buy one of remingtons' attempt at a "black" gun...the r 15 or an r25.

I am looking for directions to a website with a fourm like this that deals with the "black guns" and maybe a comparo, side by side, or any other type of threads that will help me make up my mind.

Remington's attempt is built by DPMS

Look at Spikes Tactical, Daniel Defense, CMMG, Bravo Company, Smith & Wesson in no particular order. All reliable, Varied pricing.

And what you will be using it for is a factor.

Remington owns Bushmaster and DPMS, so it's really a mix-match of ideas about what's best in an AR platform Rifle, and with Bushmaster now closed, what's next?

If you want to get into it try M4carbine.net. Some solid info available there. Note: .net not .com. With that said, unless you are a dyed in the wool remington guy, look at Rock River or Les Baer. Rock River is in the same price range as Rem but IN MY OPINION much better. Rock guarantees 3/4 x 100 yd groups with certain models( they are actually much better). I don't recall any guarantee on accuracy from Remmy. Les Baer is higher priced but TOP of the heap.
