Looking for best powder for 22-243

I'm looking for a powder with the near 100% capacity and near max velocity. Also would like to be temp. resistant. Was hoping someone might run quickload. OAL.-2.742,H2O capacity-53.4gr.,80gr Berger,210m,lapua brass,1 in 8',.010 off rifling. Have tried Retumbo,7828 SSC, H-4350. Been loading to 3340 to 3390 fps.

Okie -

I think you gotta be close with 7828, 7828SSC.

AA3100 too fast I suspect.

Maybe RL-22 ?

If what they say about ball powders is true,
new WIN 780, replaces 785 ) might be too temp sensitive ?

Watch the primer choice, esp when you get close to full.
Some primer changes can be worse for load pressure than adding
.5gr of powder, when case near full ).

How much if any is the difference in 7828 vs 7828SSC? Thanks for the reply. My new lot of 7828SSC is so different than my first one.

reloader 22 in low to middle 40's will get you there in 22-243 middlestead at 3380 fps with a 80 vld 26' 1 in 8 210m's .015off make sure your neck thickness is ok.Accuracy was good .25moa troper

When comparing I7828SSC vs straight I7828.....

In my 6mm wildcat, both powder under same bullet and w/ same primer; I loaded exact same powder charge wt.
It just came out that way. In that snese, the powders are interchangeable; it appeared.

Having said that..... regular I7828 is larger in granule size than the SSC variant. AS a consequence, if you want to fill the case more, less air space ); the I7828 will fill the case better/sooner vs same charge wt of I7828SSC.

Again, that was seeen w/ my gun.

Thanks to all replys. 357 I have not compared the vel or pressure of the 2 powders but the long cut 7828 will definetly give better case fill. Thats why I'm looking for a powder with better case density or fill with the same vel and pressure. I just boutht 8 # of the 7828SSC so I may have to sell some of it. Any thoughts on VV 165?
