Anyone have a set of 3 of these long screws for the Bald Eagle Big 50 front rest? Or know where I can find a set??
Hopefully someone has some that can help us out with. Thanks for reading guys and girls and keep shooting and having fun. Let me know if you can help or know if anywhere that has these for sale.
Best regards,
Dave

On second thought....probly the wrong thread pitch.?..dont know.

Dave..ACE Hardware has an amazing selection of bolts that will work for you...In stainless and
Black oxide..and well as standard...check them out.

The hardware store ? Then ground points on them.
I've learned to go to the hardware store for most fasteners.

Negative. I went there today. They don’t have 5/8”-11 bolts that are threaded the entire length.

Tractor Supply usually has 5/8-11 but only bolts. I myself get
all thread and cut whatever I need then get the knobs from
McMaster Carr. The last ones I made were for my Rodzilla,
although this set was 1/2 inch. I added 2 inch swivel feet also
from McMaster Carr.

Can you help with the part number for McMaster carr handles like your screws use, made for the 5/8”-11 thread size. I can get the all thread rod at the local place by me. By the way, how do you keep the handle from coming unscrewed from the threaded rod when you go to loosen it??

Red Locktight comes to mind. Or just epoxy would work for the top of the bolt ( Knob )

Google 5/8-11 jack screw. There are some with knobs but pricey. 5/8-11 all thread and make your own knobs is the cheapest way to go, just buy the rod and knobs separately.

I just went to the closest hardware store to me, but it is the most expensive and bought three 5/8-11x5" long, zinc plated carriage head bolts for I believe a little over $3 a piece. Simple, relatively cheap with a good enough knob to do the job. This shouldn't be this hard.

Where can you find that size knobs? I couldn’t even locate them on Grainger’s site??
