Looking for accurate 22lr ammo

I had been shooting fiocci match 22 ammo in my plain jane 10/22 and it wa significantly more accurate than the cheap stuff, but it has since been discontinued. I am not looking for something for competition, just something accurate enough a beginner shooter can learn, hopefully get out to 100 yds cheap and let her blast away.
What do you guys recommend? Cci mini mag? Norma?
Thinking back, that brick I just finished off was probably 20 years old LOL

FWIW, I had the same question on .22 ammo so a while back I took 7 22 rifles , basic hunting stuff not target guns, and all the different ammo I had at the house to the range and shot all the guns with all the ammo. Winchester 555(or 333), shot the best in ALL except the TC contender pistol ( .22 match barrel) which preferred Blazer. Ammo tested was basic stuff like CCI, Remington , and some target.

Hate to say it but with 22, it's very rifle dependent.

My son's 457 shoots CCI SV very well. A friends doesn't like it much and shoots Norma Tac X great.

In my Smith 41 the blue box Range Pack Federal, 800 rounds, holds the xring on both a NRA 50 foot and 25 yard target. In my Sako sporter at 25 yards it shoots into .125 or less 5 shot groups. 69.95 For 800 rounds.

I don't shoot competition, but use the lower end ELEY ammo with satisfactory results. Target and club are my main stays. Eley Practice has also been very good.

I would try Federal 710's or 510's (same ammo, one has a copper plated bullet, the other just plain lead) or perhaps Aguila super extra.
