Looking for a rainbow here in Arkansas...

Hey Fellers, we're looking for a little bigger rainbow now than @Bc'z can paint. 4 days worth of rain and no power has us stretched pretty thin....
My front yard and the end of sidewalk on the front porch and a 27ft rise on the Ouachita River.... hopefully it has crested, highest since 1990..... John

Yeah, we are old river rats. There's a 25 acre tract just north of the house with a big mound that I have the cattle on...
But we're an island it'll probably be tomorrow before the roads or what's left of them come up for air... John

I hope it doesn't get worse for you John. We're up to 9.6" of rain this week where I am in KY. The Ohio River is supposed to crest at 25' above normal this Wednesday.

My wife and I both remember that flood in 90. At the time we lived in north Louisiana along the ouachita river. We had to stay with her mom for a couple of weeks, while highway 143 was under water.

Crazy world, we are in the worst drought in over 60 years. At least your woods are not disappearing. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but it could be worse.
