looking for a place to shoot

hey guys.a good friend of mine I met on a web site want to be able to meet in the middle and be able to meet one another.we have been chatting by E-mail for some time now.now we think its time to meet up and do a little shooting and really get to know one another.

we are guessing the North Carolina and Virgina lines are the middle of our traveling for each of us.so what have ya.can you help us out with a place to go shoot and really be able to put face's on a friend.

What range(distance) are you looking for?

For Practice or matches.

NSSC at Butner NG Range has a schedule on their web site.

Frank Glover (The Range) in Oxford, NC has a 100-200 yard rifle range.

Sir Walter Shooting Club (private shooting club) has a 100 yard walk up range in Creedmoor, NC.

Shooting Sports Incorporated (Private shooting club) has a 100-200 yard range in Lousiburg, NC.

Wake County Range Holly Springs, NC is a Public range with limited hours.

There is a Private Range 100-200 yard range North of Greensboro, NC in Rockingham, NC.

There is a Private Range in Mebane, NC (Durham Rifle and Pistol club).

There is a Private Range in Durham/RTP, Durham WildLife Club.

There is a Private Range between Raleigh and Durham Wake County Wildlife club.

There may be some pirvate shooting facilities between Rocky Mount and Roanoke Rapids.

thanks Nat.we are just looking for a place to shoot out to 200 yards.this way we can be able to shoot together and spend the time getting to know each other in person.

really think this is a friendship of a lifetime.so it would mean alot to be able to meet him and shoot if we can.

Johnboy, you know me from way back-when on the Internet. A bit out-of-your way, but you and your buddy would be welcome to shoot as my Guest at the 200-300 yard Coloma Club where I'm a member. Southwestern Michigan almost anytime we can get together. Cliff

Also a range in Salisbury, NC called "Rowan County Wildlife Association" http://www.rcwanc.com where I am a member.

They have many pistol ranges, 50/100/200yrd rifle ranges, skeet houses, archery range etc etc...I am a member there and could get you in as my guests.

Salisbury is about 45 miles north of Charlotte, NC

thanks Cliff and Bistem.we think the both of us would be traveling on I95.so trying to find a place that might be off of 95.thats if one of us cannot travel the whole trip to the others home.

but you can bet your newest penny that if I am in one of you guys area I will look you up to shoot some or to just be able to meet ya.
