Looking for a Leather holster, and belt, for an old 45 Army Colt revolver.

My shooting and riding Bud is looking for a leathersmith (is that a word?) in or around Tucson, Phoenix or Flagstaff area. His current holster, no belt, is too short and he doesn't like the barrel hanging out exposed.

Used, in good repair, would be okay. Specs. are 45 Army Colt / 7 1/2 barrel / belt size 42 or larger drop loop. Long shot but worth a shot.

Anyone know someone that they would vouch for as to quality and respectable lead times?

Barranti Leather in Texas. Buy once kinda thing. Fabulous quality but not cheap.

I have a half dozen (OK, more than a half dozen) of his holsters. No belts, but they make them too.

It's been a few years since I last bought one so I do not know what the time frame is.

I’ve really enjoyed doing business with El Paso Saddlery. They make some nice stuff and have two pages of western holsters.

I tried Baranti for a leather wallet and it took a few months (almost 6) to get it and that was too long for me.
