Looking for a gunsmith

Little help fellas, I'm in southeastern Wisconsin about 45 minutes north west of Milwaukee and am looking for someone to
do a re-barrel on my 700. Know of anyone? I'd rather not drop it in the mail. Thanks!

Forgive the obvious, but have you done a Google search of Smiths in your area?

Bartlein barrels is in your "neck of the woods". Give them a call and inquire about someone who can rebarrel a Rem 700 in that area.

Try @skeetlee I think he is in that area.. But my mind not so great..
There is also Pedersen Precision. He worked for Rock Creek Barrels before hanging out his shingle. He and Lee Gardner both do great work .

I know Bartlein offers those services but I don't think they would like to work on a competitors barrel, guess I never thought about calling and seeing if they have a list of recommended smith's, I'll give them a call.
