Looking for a good spherical powder for 308

BULLET WEIGHT AND JUST HOW LONG IS THE BBL ?

both have significance in the powder choice

BLC-2 a little temp sensitive but works real well. RE-15 is a stick powder isnt it?I am assuming you have a dillon press or something like it,you can buy an adaptor to mount a regular powder measure to use stick powder in that kind of press.

Ramshot Big Game may work well too. Meters very well through progressives. Ramshot TAC is ok, but may be a bit fast burning, depending on your application.

748 has worked good for me. 150 and 168 bullets. 760 is better with the heavies. H380 has had a following but I have not used it in the 308

I am running a 1-10 twist 20" long bbl and shooting from 168 to 200 grain SMK's

Reloader 15 is a stick powder isnt't it?? I am looking for a moderate/fast burning spherical type.
so H335??

Originally 7.62x51 was developed by Winchester using WC-846 which was a version of old Ball C powder.

I've been using CFE223 in my 5.56. It is a burn rate near BLC-2. Definitely worth a look.

I found a round that performed well in my rifle and pulled apart a round. Factory Cor-Bon 175gr and 190gr match ammo and it had a dark shiny fine grained little disks.
From what I have read there are 2 types of powder, single base and double base. They say that all double base powders are spherical. Double base powders have an extra nitroglycerin content.
