Looking for a good .223 load for coyotes?

I'm starting to reload, and was wondering if you guys have any honey loads for a .223 for shooting coyotes? I will shooting it out of Browning Varmint Stalker A-Bolt with a Leopold VXII 4x12x40mm AO. I'd like a load that will get out there without much pelt damage. Thanks!

a 40gr ballistic tip might be light enough to break up inside them but you will probably want to get your shot placement right. Varmint grenades will probably do the same but again its a light and frangible bullet. Never shot a coyote but imagine they would need something a bit more solid than a VG to drop them. Ballistic tips or berger hollowpoints might be your best friend.

I needed a bullet for the same thing. After two years of testing this bullet, this one is the one. I've tried it on every ting from bobcats to several good sized coyotes. I have yet to have one exit and stunning kills. They will shoot extremely well out to 300 yds., beyond that you will need a heaver bullet.

Use Hodgdon's annual manual and work up a load with H335.

40 grain Ballistic Tips fed at 3800 by any number of powders works mighty fine. I use AA-2230, cause I got it on sale.

55 Berger HP varmint over 25.5 gr H335 for 3250fps. This is in my rifle of course, you need to work up to this load.
