looking for a dillon 223 trim die

I'm looking to buy a Dillon 223 trim die for the Dillon power trimmer . If anyone knows where I can find one or has a spare one please let me know . I place my order with Dillon last Friday and today I got the email confirmation saying my stuff shipped out but the die isn't in stock and won't be for the next 3-4 months . A trimmer without a die isn't going to do me any good !

I talked to a guy that works there and he was saying there die won't work in any of the Dillon presses , you have to get someone in a machine shop to mill off like 1/2" to 3/4" in order to get there die to fit properly . Anyone have any knowledge of this product ?

You can always step back into the dark ages and abuse your fingers. ::)

Very true but I don't have a ton of extra time to trim 4,000 cases by hand . When it comes to my 308 rounds I make the time to do them by hand though .

When I needed a 204 Ruger trim die a while back, Dillon sent me to them. They made it & a 20VT trim die and they look just like the ones I got from Dillon. Now, I use my Dillon trimmer on a single stage press and they work just dandy for me. Whether it works on my 650, can't say.

HTH,

When I spoke to Dillon about dies for my power trimmer, I got the impression from Dillon, that CH4D makes the dies for Dillon - the die I ordered from CH4d was exactly like the one that came with the power trimmer (except for a different calibre).

Drill a hole in cutter and thread to fit rcbs case master and save your fingers. It work great for mass production.
