Looking for 338/06 Ackley Imp. Loads

I hope someone can help me with some 338/06 AI loads? I'm having one stocked right now at MPI and want to get started on some loads to test when it gets back to me preferably looking for 185-210grain bullet and powder combo's. Thanks for your time.

As with most AI loads, start with the upper end of the standard, non AI loads and go from there.

In mine, I've tried H-4350, Varget, R-15, R-17, and H-380 with the 200/210 class bullets. Day after day, I keep coming back to H-4350 for it's consistency in groups and velocity, whether it's with the 200 BT's, 200 Hornady's, or the 210 Partitions, all running right at 2800 or so.

I just finished a .338/06 AI build on a 1909 Argentine Mauser . While waiting for my smith to finish I searched the net and found several pages of load data off shooting forums. If you have access to a fax machine PM me the number and I will send what I have accumulated. You're going to love this caliber.
