Looking for 284 shehane loads and info.

Hello,
I just purchased a 284 shehane and wanting to see other 284 Shehane loads, bullets, primers, powder, and bullet hold or neck tension, that other shehane shooter are using.
Do they like alot of neck tension etc?
Thanks
Rob

I currently run 56.2gr of H4831Sc in Lapua cases neck turned to .012 wall thickness. BR4 or 210M primers, I have not seen any appreciable difference between the two. Currently using 210M on this barrel. I am running about .001-.002 neck tension based on sized/loaded round diameters. I simply use the bushing that doesn't allow bullet movement after seating. I suggest you start at 55 grains and slowly work up. I have gone up to 57 grains but case life suffers.

I use 55.7 of 4831 SC, federal primer, Berger 180 grain VLD, and .004-.005 neck clearance. I use a mandrel for light neck tension. My chrono shows 2830 fps from 30" barrel. Excellent accuracy, smooth chambering and extraction, and great case life.

Start your loads lower and work up.
