There is no maximum caliber in IBS SR score. I was just talking to Jim Cline the IBS VP about this recently. I remember not too long ago there use to be a 40 caliber limit but the rules have been rewritten and he is sure that there is no set caliber that is maximum. In short line score the 30BR cuts a 0.308" hole and the 6PPC a 0.243" hole. It might get a few points difference over a 50 shot match, especially if there is a 6X scope limit as in Hunter Bench Rest. In Varmit for Score I believe 6mm is the maximum bullet allowed and unlimited scope power, but I may be mistaken.
So is my 375br legal now? There is no maximum caliber in IBS SR score. I was just talking to Jim Cline the IBS VP about this recently. I remember not too long ago there use to be a 40 caliber limit but the rules have been rewritten and he is sure that there is no set caliber that is maximum.
In IBS SR score it is.So is my 375br legal now?
Why go,with a 375br, its small? You can take my 450 Bushmaster bolt gun and forget your windflags for100yd matches.I will let you borrow it.So is my 375br legal now?
50ppcAll it will take is a barrel, reamer, bullets, good brass etc. Even a bigger bullet has to get closeBut then, why stop with that? Why not a 50 BMG? That would be a serious hole in the target, not to mention running off the shooters sitting next to you.
