lookin' for longer 204 bullets

I have a TC venture 204 10 twist and just picked up a 9 twist AR barrel.

Anyone have source for the 55 bergers or something else that I might try in the faster barrels?

Berger 55s are hard to find. Ive had great luck with custom bullets.
Noname bullets is what i shoot and they can make any wieght bullet you want

The comment on Berger's page for the 55 says yes - in a 20br. The 204 might have a bit more trouble (less Velocity) and my 10 twist will probably not do it.

I want a 50 or maybe a 45bt but cannot find any thing.

Black hole bullets makes 45 and up 204 bullets. I haven't used them but I hear that they have a thicker, tougher jacket than the berger 55's. Don Unmussig makes heavy 20's too.

Berger is recommending an 8tw. I chose a 8 1/2tw for my .20-.223AI(similar case capacity to a .204R) and hope it will stabilize them. Keep me posted on your findings please.

I'm shooting the 55gr Berger and 55 Blackhole Lexan tip out of a 9 twist 20br and 20-250 along with Don Unmussigs 52gr they all shoot very well out of the 9 twist, also have a 10 twist 204R that will shoot the 50 Berger very well, Blaine from Blackhole makes a awesome 45gr cupped base with a Lexan tip I would give them a try and they do have a thicker jacket than the Bergers

Hey Thanks for the tips.
I have another 3 groove Lilja 9 twist that will be a 20 Dasher soon so more longfellows will be the norm.
