Longshot: 30mm Ruger Rings

Just bought a Leupold Mark 4, 30mm tube to put on my 1970s era Ruger 77V. Scope has 40mm objective (4.5x14x40). Optics Planet has 30mm Ruger Rings available.

Has anyone on the Forum gone to 30mm Rings Factory (?) for a Ruger 77 and what size (Low, Medium, High) did you go with?

I'm guessin' medium front, high in rear?

Nobody done this? This old Ruger still shoots 1/2 moa @ 100 but my eyes are gettin' tired. I really don't want to go with a Picatinny (sp) if'n I don't have to.

Went with the high set from Ruger via Optics Planet. Scope here today, rings next week. Fingers crossed.
