With one of our trusty beagles, Floo. Hunted with another beagle, Bella and a jack russel, blackjack. These dogs could find an animal in heavy bushveld in a matter of minutes.

Cool, it would take a bunch of years to get that many bullets into big game here in the US. Sounds like some good shooting!

Very very nice hogpatrol, one month from today we heading out into the Limpopo Bushveld for Koedoe, Impala and Blue Wildebeest. I cant wait to jump in that cruiser and to leave the City behind with the sun just starting to come up over the mountains

I’ve got a Kudu, Gemsbok, Hartebeest, Springbok, Black Wildebeest, and Blue Wildebeest. The one thing I wanted REAL bad was a Warthog. Man it’s unbecoming, but I’m jealous of that Hog!

NIck has loads of warthogs on his available hunting area (193 square miles/ 580,000 acres). My hunting buddy was a warthog killer, except for one rainy day, shot one or two every day. I shot the one in the pic at 315m straight on head shot. They are one cool animal to hunt but don't dawdle or they'll be gone. a-outta.gif

Nice Hunt.....Are you getting that warthog mounted?.................I would....

Regards
Rick
No taxidermy this time. Actually, that's a small sow warthog. They have only two bumps on the face. I killed this one a few years back, much better boar trophy for the area hunted. Up in the northern part of the country where the soil is softer, their tusks aren't as worn down and they're quite bigger. Shot this guy on a last night meat hunt, one shot to the eyeball wth a .17 Fireball. Kindler gold turned his brain to mush.
