The targets are life sized. This is a really fun match! Conditions look great for Saturday too.

Had a blast and the weather turned out great, my lowly gas gun shooting 6.8spcII did well for me and got me another ribbon! Wasn't too thrilled about the new sight in format, but I had some good dope. The drive from PRK is a long one, but I enjoy this match!

Alex, sorry I didn't see you or I forgot your face. Say hey to me next time. I brought home the blue in Expert.

I liked the new sighter format. It lets you get it done but you better have you act together. I thought it was a very efficient use of time. It also keeps in the spirit of the "pressure" of the whole format. The first round of F Class works the same way. Shoot as many sighters as you want, but your on the clock. What I would like to see them do is open the range for half an hour or so after the match for practice. It would help us that have have a long drive. But I get it that the RO's want to pack up while there is help to do it.

Yeah, I was Ok with it for the most part, but for new shooters or people with new loads and guns/scopes it would be a deal breaker. Especially for those who don't have local ranges that far. Maybe Tony will get the sign-in portion moving along a little quicker as the season goes on, but that seemed way too long with signing up member during match sign in.

Either way, I had fun and took a red ribbon home in class 3, I'll be working up a new load for the next one I get to. I really need to get to a mid range match at Sacramento soon. Let me know if you're going to attend any soon, it'd be nice to catch up.

This Sunday Sac has a Palma match 800, 900, 1K and on the 26th a 3x600. I'm hoping to make both but the wife may have other ideas... I'll make one for sure, I'll let you know. Probably the 3x600 if I can only make one. I'll have a new rifle ready to shoot by then.
