WANTED Long range variable scope

I think it would be interesting to see a spotting scope modified to mount on a rifle. That way I could use it to shoot anywhere from 50 yds to 1000 yds. It would be like a 10x-60x magnification with immense light gathering ability with its quite sizeable objective lens. Yes, it would make the rifle a bit heavy but we're talking accuracy here~!!
Just a goofy thought having read so many comments about scopes here~!!

This one does pretty much everything your describe. I have one and it works great. It is BIG, but on a larger rifle, doesn't look too out of place. If you need an 82mm objective, you have other issues.
