Long Range Alley July 1000yd F-class/Prone match results

It was a hot one at LRA (south of Shreveport, LA) this past weekend. We still had a decent turnout in spite of the temps. F-Open had 8 shooters, F-TR had 6 and HP 'Sling' had 8.
As previously reported the firing line cover was a lifesaver. Winds were 5-10 from the arse and fishtailing from one side to the other every 3-5 minutes. Most of the time I couldn't see much more than a faint 10 ring ghost and the 9 ring on out due to the mirage. When the wind passed through our 'six' the boil was nasty, to say the least. In spite of that the cream rose to the top

Tim Vaught put on a clinic in F-Open shooter a fantastic 592-21x to take the win. Jade Delcambre had a dominating win in F-TR shooting a 579-17x. Tony Miller put up an outstanding 586-17x while besting the sling shooters. Regardless of our scores I would say all had a great time. Thanks to the crew of Long Range Shooters of Louisiana and LRA for putting on a great match. Looking forward to the August match on Saturday 08/17.

No doubt, looking forward to the two day championship in March. Should be breezy that time of year, gonna make it a interesting match!
