Long or Short Stiller action?

I will be shooting 95 or 105 bergers in a repeating action in 243 win. Long or short action? I will be chasing the threads.
Should I use a hinge floor plate or a magazine feed? What options should I look for in a stock?
This will be a walking/ambush coyote rifle.
I talked to both stiller and berger. Neither had a definite answer.
Thanks in advance!

I would go with a long action so cartridge OAL will not be a factor. It also keeps your options open for different cartriges in the future. Mag or floorplate is your personal decision. Mags look cool, but realistically how many rounds do you think you will get off at coyote(s) before they are dead or gone with a bolt action rifle? Carrying a rifle with an extended mag is pain. Mags catch on stuff, latches get bumped too. Walking, I usually grab the rifle at the floorplate and carry it one handed. But please don't count how many AR's or mags I have!

Figure out just how long your particular combination will be and let that decide for you.

If you are interested in the short action, chat with Jerry and see if he still offers the Wyatt magazine box. It is longer than the "standard" Remington SA magazine and might be of interest.
